A prospect may not necessarily want to give you their accounts information to put into the Clarity platform, so we have created a simplified way to show prospects the averages of other companies in their industry.
The data is generated from the up-to-date information pulled from all of the clients that are connected to the Clarity platform by our members.
To begin running off a benchmarking report, select 'Reports' along the blue banner and 'Benchmarking'
You will then be given the option of which company you would like to run a benchmarking report for and the date you would like.
We always recommend selecting the previous calendar quarter as there will be more data in the Clarity platform to benchmark against compared to the current month.
When running benchmarking reports for prospects who may not want to give you access to their data, we recommend that you select either your Firm's account or a demo company you have created in the Clarity platform.
After choosing to either Email or Download the report, select 'Sectors business' and choose the template called 'Prospect Industry Sectors Benchmarking Template' - you'll need to click the 'cog' icon to get the template to appear.
Tick 'Benchmark by Industry Sector' and then select the industry of your prospect, i.e. if you select 'Manufacture of ice cream' as an industry sector, the report will generate and compare data from manufacturing companies connected to the Clarity platform.
Select 'Confirm' once you have chosen the industry and the report will complete the benchmarking analysis and download the PDF report.
The original template has the company name included on the report - in case you want to personalise the report for each prospect. To change the name of a 'dummy' company hover over Settings on the top menu and then clicking Advanced.
You can then edit the prospect's name in the Company Name field.
